Obituary of Matthiew Sidney Mutschler

Matthiew "Sid" Mutschler of Lodi passed away in Stockton on June 30, 2004 at the age of 63. Mr. Mutschler was born in Eureka, South Dakota on October 26,1940 and moved to the Lodi area in 1954. He graduated from Lodi High School and attended Delta College. He had recently retired from Lockhart Seed of Stockton. He previously owned and operated TreeHouse Nursery, Inc. in Victor for 17 years. He was a member of "The Avenue Grill Coffee Club" and Big Valley Seniors Softball. His great love was being with his two grandsons. He enjoyed movies, the Dodgers and golfing. He had a great sense of humor as well as being a history buff. He is survived by his wife, Debra Mutschler of Lodi; daughters, Staci and husband, Brian Woltkamp of Lodi and Terra and husband, Matt Kaufman of Stockton; step-sons, Lance Arnold of Sacramento and Scott Arnold of Lodi; 2 grandsons, Zachary Woltkamp and Ethan Sidney Kaufman; sisters, Barbara Pruden of Lodi and Rochelle Wheeler of Sante, CA; brother, Blake Mutschler of Lodi. A Chapel Service will be held on Tuesday at Lodi Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM with Pastor Brad Stahl of First Baptist Church of Stockton officiating. Committal will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Sunday and Monday from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM at Lodi Funeral Home.
