Obituary of Amparo Benzon

Mrs. Amparo G. Benzon of Lodi passed away Monday December 29, 2003 at her residence at the age of 75. Mrs. Benzon was born to Abdon and Luisa Guillermo on February 23, 1927, in Apari, Philippines. Mrs. Benzon worked as an accountant for Sears Roebuck in Stockton for 30 years before retiring in 1988. She attended and graduated from the University of the East in Manila, Philippines and also attended the Temple Baptist Church in Lodi. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Arcadio Benzon of Lodi, 1 son Edgar Benzon and his wife Sheila of Lodi, 2 brothers, Ray Guillermo of Fremont, Leonard Guillermo of Lodi, 1 sister, Aurora Guillermo of New York, and 1 grandson, Mark Santos of Stockton. A chapel service will be held Friday January 2nd, 2004, 10:00 AM at the Lodi Funeral Home, followed by interment at the Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery in Lodi. Visitation will be Wednesday 12:00 noon 5:00 PM. at the Lodi Funeral Home.
