Obituary of Nancy Hope-Gillaspy

Nancy Hope-Gillaspy, of Lodi, passed away on March 10, 2013, at the age of 55. Nancy was born in Lynwood, California on September 26, 1957, to Max and Clara (Campbell) Hope. She worked for 30 years as a sales manager for office products. She attended Emanuel Lutheran Church and was also active in the Lodi Garden Club. Nancy was known for her love of decorating for all the seasons and holidays, particularly Christmas. She loved to share her joy of the seasons with so many. Her kindness and generosity will be greatly missed. Nancy is survived by her husband, Daniel Gillaspy of Lodi; two sons, Michael Gillaspy of Manteca and Jeffrey Gillaspy of Lodi; grandchildren, Madeline of Manteca and Braden of Lodi; mother, Clara Hope of Long Beach; siblings, Debbie Hope of Long Beach, Tim Hope of Laguna Niguel, Cindy Hope of Irvine, and Tom Hope of Long Beach; and her best friend, Brenda Grow of Mission Viejo. She was preceded in death by her father, Max Hope. Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Nancy's Life on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at 1:00 p.m., at Mokelumne River Park, 305 Mokelumne Drive, Lodi 95240.
