Obituary of Orrin David Kettelman

Orrin David Kettelman, Jr, passed away on September 18, 2014, after a short illness, at the age of 91. He was born on September 7, 1923, to Orrin David, Sr., and Gertrude (McCuen) Kettelman in Lodi, California. He was self-employed by contracting with the U.S. Postal Service. Orrin enjoyed puzzles, RV camping, working in the garden, joking with the grandkids and great-grandkids, and visiting the cabin in Tahoe; but most of all he loved his dog, Blacky. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jean Stickler; and son-in-law, Larry Knight. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Kettelman; brother, Bob and Jeannie Kettelman, niece, Bonnie & Steve Schnider (and several nieces and nephews); children, Ronald Kettelman, Gary and Charlotte Kettelman Sr., and Jo Ann Knight; grandkids, Kevin and Lisa Knight, Gary and Jenny Kettelman Jr., Trudy and Mike Pate, Kim and Chris Machado, Michael Kettelman, and Meredith and Nick Richardi; great-grandkids, Madison, Macey, Manuel, Casey, Cody, Mila, Graydin, Logan, and Ava. Friends are invited to visit Tuesday, September 23, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. Graveside services will be private.
