Obituary of Kenneth Walter Mehlhaff

Kenneth Walter Mehlhaff, of Lodi, CA passed away on July 6, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was born on October 30, 1934, in Lodi, to Walter and Regina Mehlhaff. He was a fourth generation wine grape grower for 50 years. He enjoyed golfing, boating, RVing, and the beach. He was a volunteer for Mokelumne Fire Department for 25 years, and was involved with 4-H, Future Farmers of America, Farm Bureau and board member of AG Credit of California FLCA for 15 years. He was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church. He was an elder and a deacon and sang in the choir for many years. He is survived by his devoted wife and best friend, Sally Mehlhaff; daughter, Lori (Steven) Felten; son, Greg (Fernando Souper) Mehlhaff; grandchildren, Farrah Felten (Stefan) Jolley and Jessica Rose Stoddard; sisters, Mariane (Bud) Adams and Rosalie (Neal) Orchard. A memorial service will be held on Monday August 1st at 1:30 pm at Zion Lutheran Church, 105 S. Ham Lane. A celebration of life will follow at Klinker Brick Winery, 15887 N. Alpine Road. The family extends a heartfelt thank you all of the friends and family who have supported us and a very special thank you to the staff of Arbor Nursing Center for their outstanding care and support. There is no visitation, and committal is private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Kenneth's name to Optimal Hospice Foundation or a charity of your choice. Lodi Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
