Mr. Alfred H. Reutter of Lodi passed away Monday August 2, 2004 in a Sacramento hospital at the age of 79. Mr. Reutter was born July 26, 1925 in Chaseley, North Dakota to Barney and Addie Reutter. He worked for General Mills as a packaging supervisor for 27 years before retiring in 1984. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #634 of Lodi. Mr. Reutter was a United States Navy and WWII veteran. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed dancing, music, playing pool, family bar-B-Q?s and traveling. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by 1 son, Bryan Reutter and wife Susan of Walnut Creek; 1 daughter, Corinne Luna and husband David of Los Osos; 1 brother, Laurence Reutter of North Dakota; 3 sisters, Gladys Morlock, Mae Weihmiller, Iva Jean Koller all of North Dakota; a sister in-law Esther Reutter of Lodi, a companion Jeanie Pugh of Lodi; and 3 grandchildren, Katie, Ben, and Will Reutter all of Walnut Creek. He was preceded in death by 1 son, Douglas Reutter, 4 brothers, Bert, Elmer, Allen, and Walter Reutter, 4 sisters, Ruth Pierce, Grace Seidel, Edith Mill and Helen Reutter. A graveside service will be held Friday August 6, 2004, 2:00 pm at the Lodi Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Lodi Funeral Home.
