Bertha Deibert Rauser of Lodi passed away in Lodi on March 18, 2004 at the age of 91 years. Mrs. Rauser was born in Herreid, South Dakota on June 18, 1912. She was raised on a farm in McGlaughlin, S.D. She married Mr. Edward Deibert in 1934. He passed away in 1946. She moved to Stockton in 1950 from Herreid and then in 1951, she moved to Lodi. She later married Martin Rauser. She lived in Lodi the remainder of her life. She was self-employed. She enjoyed homemaking and sewing. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Geri Gannaway of San Jose; son, Ed Deibert of Sebastapol; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Katherine Klipfel of Lodi and Helen Gillette of Lodi. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Deibert, her husband, Martin Rauser, daughter, Helen Deibert; 2 brothers, Jack and Fred Hepperle; 2 sisters, Hulda Quenzer and Clara Martin. A Chapel Service will be held on Wednesday at 12 noon at Lodi Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Glen Barnes of First Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be held at Lodi Funeral Home on Monday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM; Tuesday, 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Committal will be private at Cherokee Memorial Park.
